Hoquiam fire was dispatched to the 1400 block of C St. for report of a structure fire around 10:42 PM on December 10th, 2023 - original dispatched advised smoke and flames visible from a structure fire in the 500 block of Levee St. It was later updated to the 1400 block of C St. as officers arrived advising smoke and flames visible.

On FD arrival they advised that the garage was on fire, occupants of the home evacuating. The garage was fully engulfed, making its way to the residence. The Fire was making its way to the power lines.

Second alarm was requested adding Fire District 2 and Cosmopolis Fire for response, Aberdeen FD was already assisting.

At 11:37 PM the fire was said to be under control and in overhaul.

Does not sound like there were any injuries and all occupants got out safely.
