
On Sept. 5, a portion of State Route 108 near McCleary will close to all travelers for two weeks.

Closure specifics
The highway will close at milepost 5.5. The work zone is located about 2.5 miles northeast of Elma Hicklin Road East.
The closure will continue around the clock from 8 a.m. Tuesday, September 5 to 8 a.m. Tuesday, September 19.
Travelers will detour using US 101 and SR 8 in Thurston County. Shaker Church Road Northwest in Thurston County is limited to local traffic only.
The work is related to a fish barrier removal project at two tributaries to Skookum Creek.
