Mason County, WA – October 2, 2025
A man wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Monroe was apprehended in Mason County earlier today following a coordinated law enforcement effort.
The Mason County Sheriff’s Enforcement Team, working alongside Patrol and Civil Division units, assisted the Monroe Police Department in locating and arresting Craig Douglas Moore, who was identified as the suspect in the robbery of a business in Monroe earlier in the afternoon.

Detectives from Monroe PD developed information indicating Moore may have fled to the Timberlakes community in Mason County. Deputies initiated multiple searches in the area and successfully located Moore at a residence.
Authorities also seized Moore’s vehicle, which was allegedly used during the robbery, along with the firearm involved and additional evidence connected to the crime.
In a statement, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office thanked their law enforcement partners for the collaboration that led to Moore’s capture, calling it “another successful mission to keep our community safe.”
The investigation remains ongoing.
