Expect daytime delays on US 101 in Pacific County for pavement repair work

SEAVIEW – Travelers who use US 101, also known as the Pacific Coast Scenic Byway, should plan for daytime delays.

Starting Tuesday, May 27, the Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will repair the driving surface along US 101, near Seaview in Pacific County, to make the drive smoother.

Crews will use a “grind and inlay” method, removing the top layer of damaged pavement (grind) and replacing it with new asphalt (inlay).
