Missing Person Alert: South Bend Police Seeking Public's Help

The South Bend Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating 62-year-old Rosemary F. Beggs, who has been reported missing.

According to police, Beggs left Willapa Harbor Hospital on the morning of June 21, 2026, between approximately 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on foot. Investigators were able to track her movements through the South Bend and Raymond areas and determined that she boarded a Pacific Transit bus later that day.

Authorities say Beggs was dropped off at the Aberdeen Grays Harbor Transit Station at approximately 2:30 p.m. on June 21

Rosemary is described as:

  • 5 feet 6 inches tall
  • Approximately 140 pounds
  • Blue eyes
  • Gray shoulder-length hair

She was last seen wearing the outfit shown in the surveillance photo released by police.

Officials believe Beggs may be attempting to travel to Moclips, Washington. Police also report that she has been deemed cognitively impaired and has missed multiple doses of her medication, raising concerns for her welfare.
