Human Remains Identified in Mason County as Missing Bothell Woman

MASON COUNTY, WA – September 15, 2025 – The Mason County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the discovery of human remains on timberland near State Route 3 and Pickering Road.

Deputies located the body of a deceased female at the site, where investigators determined she had been there for an extended period of time. Early findings indicate the cause of death was the result of homicidal violence.

The victim has been identified as Mallory Barbour, who had been reported missing from Bothell, Washington. Barbour was last seen leaving her residence on June 24, 2025.
