On 02-22-24 at 0023 hrs, Aberdeen Officers were dispatched to multiple shots fired in the area of East Market Street near the TwinStar Credit Union. As officers were arriving in the area, dispatch advised that a female called to report that her vehicle was shot.

Upon further investigation, a person of interest was taken into custody and 3 vehicles seized pending search warrants. A firearm was also recovered and there is no further threat to the community. The investigation is ongoing at this time and being led by Aberdeen Police Detectives.
