On February 15, 2024 the Grays Harbor Drug Task Force (GHDTF) served a Search Warrant at a residence in the 1000 block of W. Wishkah Street in Aberdeen. The suspect, a forty-five-year-old Aberdeen male, was arrested for Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substance Act (VUCSA) Delivery and booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail.  In all, twelve people were contacted during the service of the warrant.

Four others living at the residence were arrested on unrelated outstanding warrants as follows; a thirty-eight-year-old male arrested on a Department of Corrections outstanding warrant and booked into the Hoquiam City Jail, a thirty-two-year-old female arrested on an Aberdeen warrant, a thirty-five-year-old female booked an Aberdeen warrant, and a thirty-eight-year-old female booked on an Aberdeen warrant. All the females booked at Aberdeen were later released.

A fourteen-year-old male was found to be staying at the residence with his mother, and Child Protective Services (CPS) was contacted and responded to the location to take custody of the child.

During the search of the residence and suspect, more methamphetamine, cash, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia were located.

This same residence was the subject of a GHDTF search warrant for drugs on June 1, 2022 as well.  The suspects of that warrant no longer live at the residence. At least one person was present at both search warrants.

This is yet another example of nuisance properties that generate numerous complaints to the Aberdeen Police Department, Code Enforcement, Animal Control, Parking Enforcement, CPS and GHDTF.

The GHDTF was assisted by the Aberdeen Regional Special Response Team (SRT), a Quinault Indian Nation K-9 Narcotics team, the Aberdeen Police Department, CPS, Animal Control, and Code Enforcement.
