Pacific County DTF Makes Arrest For Controlled Substance Homicide

The Pacific County Drug Task says that they made an arrest for controlled substance homicide after a death on January 29th, 2024.

A spokesperson said that the Raymond Police Department was dispatched to the report of a possible drug overdose. Unfortunately, one individual had died from a suspected fentanyl overdose.

The Pacific County Drug Task Force was contacted, and began an investigation. As a result of that investigation, two individuals were booked into the Pacific County Jail that night for controlled substance homicide and delivery of a controlled substance.

The Pacific County Drug Task Force was assisted in their investigation throughout the day by multiple Patrol Officers from the South Bend Police Department, Raymond Police Department, and Washington State Patrol.

This investigation is still ongoing, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty. The Pacific County Drug Task Force is made up of Law Enforcement Officers from the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office, Raymond Police Department, Long Beach Police Department, and South Bend Police Department.
