The Washington State Patrol says that a 15-year-old Shelton teen crashed his motorcycle after failing to negotiate a curve on State Route 8 Tuesday August 5th near Elma.

The WSP report says that the collision occurred at 11:53 AM when the teen was eastbound on SR 8 at milepost 3 in late 2, the passing late when he failed to negotiate the curve and went into the media, striking the cable barrier.
The teen was riding a 2014 Green Kawasaki EX300
The teen was taken to Harborview Medical Center for his injuries. It is not mentioned if he was traveling with an adult or any other motorcyclists.
