FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...
The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a * Flood Watch for a portion of northwest Washington, including the following counties, Clallam, Grays Harbor, and Jefferson.
* From late tonight through Thursday afternoon.
* Heavy rain will return to the Olympic Peninsula overnight tonight which will drive area rivers up substantially, including the Bogachiel. This may be enough rain for the Bogachiel to exceed flood stage.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on current forecasts. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
