This Week In Alerts - September 12th

Welcome to this week's edition of our Weekly GHScanner Alerts Roundup, where we bring you this week's alerts, both subscriber and non subscriber posts and share updates. You may have asked yourself what was that about, or what did I miss?  Here is our round up for the week.

Sunday, Sept. 7th, 8:33 AM - Cosmopolis, report of a rollover collision, single vehicle, US 101 milepost 76 Cosi Hilltop.

 

Monday, Sept. 8th, 10:23 AM - Copalis Beach, EMS and deputies responding to area around the Green Lantern Tavern report a suicidal subject in the woods. Secondhand information indicates the person took bottle of Vicodin and is apparently in the woods with his vehicle. Deputies and EMS responding.  Subject was located and transported to Community Hospital.

Monday, Sept. 8th, 2:55 PM Pacific Beach: Deputies and other officers in the area of 2nd Street, searching the surrounding area for a domestic violence suspect wanted for domestic violence assault. K9 unit being requested. --  7:55 PM Officers are back on scene of the earlier domestic with the female subject located. She just took off on foot through the Otis Mill. Multiple deputies in the area.  She was located and taken into custody.

Monday, Sept. 8th, 7:48 PM—Aberdeen, officers are in a vehicle pursuit; they believe this will be of a DV suspect at a high rate of speed currently westbound on Marion St. Officers are being advised to terminate per supervisor. However, suspect is at gunpoint in the 400 block of W Marion.

Monday, Sept. 8th, 6:01 PM—Cosmopolis, fire responding to report of a vehicle fire UD 101 and 2nd St . FD arriving on scene, one vehicle fully engulfed. Going to be blocking the right lane on 101 into Cosmopolis.

Monday, Sept. 8th, 6:33 PM - Hoquiam, water rescue, 800 block of 8th St. A person can see three persons in the water swimming against the current trying to get to the shore, possibly a capsized boat.… One subject has been pulled out of the water, other two subjects are headed out towards the bay with a current. Coast Guard being notified.  3 persons total were pulled out of the water, confirming capsized boat. 

Wednesday, Sept. 10th, 8:11 AM Aberdeen, Aberdeen: Collision at the 200 block of West State Street between a passenger vehicle and a Tesla, started out as a road rage incident, now both parties are going and fighting on scene.  The victim of the incident commented that there was no fight, but definitely a person with anger issues. 

Wednesday, Sept 10th Sept. 10th, 3:36 PM AM Hoquiam, north US 109 milepost 10: report of a vehicle that stopped on the shoulder and the driver got out, and started chasing a bicyclist on foot, trying to attack the pedestrian. Last report both were in and out of the roadway running northbound.

Wednesday,, Sept. 10th, 5:47 PM, Aberdeen, Pioneer Park, skatepark report of a male subject that went up to another person, the calling party, making threats with a tire iron. Multiple officers responding.

Thursday, Sept. 11th, 7:54 AM Aberdeen, Aberdeen: Assault in progress, 400 block E Heron. Male subject walked up to another and started attacking him, punching and kicking. Multiple officers arriving on scene.

Thursday, Sept. 11th, 10:46 AM - Aberdeen, report of a vehicle vs bike pedestrian collision with injury Simpson at Oak St.

Thursday, Sept. 11th, 12:27 PM Hoquiam, fire on scene of a brush fire, possibly from an illegal burn not threatening the structure behind Roof King, 400 block S Adams St. Believe that the location was modified to being the street behind, Broadway Ave. 

Thursday, Sept. 11th, 6:52 PM Neilton: Multiple officers in route to the 6300 block of US 101 JJ's trailer park, for domestic assault; the intoxicated boyfriend, after the assault, left the residence with a firearm.
