Aberdeen, fire responding to the 400 block E 2nd St for report of smoke scene coming from an apartment possible structure fire. Multiple agencies responding. 5:17 PM Sounding like this might be possible arson, neighbor reportedly started the fire
Sheriff's Department along with the Aberdeen Police Department drone unit are in the area of Stafford Creek searching the waterway, looking for a missing kayaker. Kayaker launched from 28th Street yesterday, did not return. Device last pinged location near the Stafford Creek prison waterway. 5:22 PM

Westport, Report of a display of a shotgun, Knotty Pine 201 E Dock St. Subject behind the establishment in a van pulled out of shotgun making threats to employee. Subject was detained and taken into custody 11:36 AM
Hoquiam, officers responding to Hoquiam Middle School for possible burglary in progress. Report of a broken window and open door believe a male subject is inside. 3:57 PM - This was later updated that the calling party did not see anyone enter. Officers used a K9 to search the building, nothing found.
Malone, fire responding to a report of a possible brush fire SR 12 milepost 26. Fire in a field in patches, dark smoke visible 4:52 Pm

Sunday, May 11th -
Update on the missing kayaker from Thursday night - You may have read one of our subscribers posts that was about a missing kayaker that had launched from the 28th Street Boat Ramp Hoquiam. He was reported missing not returned Friday morning. His vehicle, still out at 28th Street Boat Ramp, and was not an expert kayaker. Later Friday evening deputies and other agencies were flying the drone and trying to get a boat into the area to search the water across the river by Stafford creek as there had been a pinged location from a device this person had. Nothing came from that search. Saturday evening a body was discovered, deputies responded to the scene in the 900 block SR 105 down from the Archery Club and have unofficially (radio traffic only) confirmed that this was the person they had been looking for. 7:28 AM
Aberdeen, report of a collision currently unknown of injuries 1300 block S Boone. Three vehicles involved blocking. 1:11 PM - there was one injured party according to radio traffic.
Aberdeen, officers responding to report of shots fired 1100 block Calhoun Road. Calling parties states neighbor shot a rifle towards their residence, that person claiming he was shooting at a raccoon. Multiple officers responding. 2:20 PM
Aberdeen, FD on scene bus stop on fire Simpson Avenue 7-Eleven, intentionally set by two subjects officers in the area searching for. 8:36 PM
Montesano, officers on scene of an injury collision sounds like a vehicle versus power pole 177 Devonshire Road. 8:39 PM This resulted in a multi hour power outage for the area.
