Great Catch Aberdeen Police!

Last night around 9:35 PM an Aberdeen Police Officer attempted to stop a silver passenger car for blowing through stop signs at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was failing to stop running from the officer. The officer got permission to pursue and do the PIT maneuver if the option arose.

The officer got the vehicle stopped where the driver then fled on foot area of the I St and 9t St, west side of the Community East campus.

County k9 was requested, multiple officers set up containment.

The driver was located laying down hiding, 200 block E 5th St and was taken into custody.
