Ocosta, Wash. — A three-vehicle collision on State Route 105 near Ocosta Myrtle left two people injured Tuesday afternoon, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash occurred around 5:42 p.m. on November 4, 2025, when a 2012 Honda Civic, driven by 20-year-old woman of Aberdeen, was traveling southbound on SR 105. A 2023 Kia Forte, driven by 44-year-old woman of Aberdeen, was traveling northbound and had slowed to make a turn. A 1998 WilM Pup trailer and 2006 Kenworth construction truck, driven by 47-year-old man of Hoquiam, were also involved.

Investigators say Vehicle One (the Honda) failed to yield and struck Vehicle Two (the Kia), leading to a chain-reaction crash involving Vehicle Three (the truck and trailer). All three vehicles were totaled in the collision.
The two involved drivers were transported to Harbor Regional Health with injuries. Teh causing driver was not injured but was charged with negligent driving in the second degree. All drivers were reported to have been wearing seatbelts, and drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the collision.
According to troopers, the primary cause of the crash was following too closely. All vehicles were towed from the scene, with Pro Star Towing assisting.
The collision temporarily blocked traffic in both directions while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
