Several local residents notified the deputies that three other explosives were set off in the residential neighborhood over the previous 12 hours.
Washington State Patrol Bomb Squad responded, investigated the device and conducted a controlled detonation to render the IED safe.
The investigation determined the suspect was setting off the devices from their vehicle as they drove through the community.
The Washington State Patrol Bomb Squad is working with the ATF and FBI to further document the explosive.
MCS wants to thank the community members who called in the IED and provided information for this investigation.
