The Washington State Patrol says that a 19-year-old from Poulsbo died after a single vehicle collision on State Route 108 on Sunday afternoon, June 9th, 2024.

The collision occurred on State Route 108 near mile marker 7 around 2:40 PM. The released report says that a gray 2009 Lexus RX driven by a 19-year-old Poulsbo man was traveling westbound on State Route 108 at mile marker 7 when he veered to the right on a curve, left the roadway and collided with an embankment of a creek.
Medics did transport the driver. However, he died while in transit to the hospital.
There were no passengers or other vehicles involved.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
