Orville WA Woman Killed In Fatality Collision In Mason County

The Washington State Patrol says that a 52-year-old Oroville Washington woman was killed in a traffic collision Friday evening near Shelton on US 101 and W Railroad Ave.

The collision happened on Friday evening, February 23rd at 10:05 Pm on US 101. The 52-year-old Oroville woman was driving a 2002 Kia Spectra traveling southbound us highway 101 at milepost 347 in the northbound lane when she struck a 2003 Subaru Forester that was traveling northbound on 101. The northbound driver, a 22-year-old man from Tepoztlan MX was transported to Tacoma General for his injuries. The 52-year-old Oroville driver was transported to Mason General and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The Washington State Patrol says that the cause of the collision was driving over the center line and DUI.
