According to the Washington State Patrol, a 28-year-old Oakville man was killed Wednesday morning on his motorcycle after hitting a horse that was in the roadway on State Route 12. 

This incident occurred on June 22nd, 2022 at 4:39 AM when Joshua Bubnick 28 of Oakville was on his motorcycle traveling eastbound on State Route 12 near milepost 41/Albany ST SW.  Bubnick struck a horse that was in the lane of travel that had gotten out of its pasture.  Both Bubnick and the horse were deceased at the scene.
