Local Girl Scouts leader and the great cookie sales cordinator here in Grays Harbor says that community support and cookie sales were AMAZING with one of the local Girl Scouts troop selling 17.000 boxes of cookies, and they donated 600 boxes to a local charity and military service men and women.

Wallman goes on to say, thanks to your generosity, over 300 boxes were donated to the USO, providing a sweet treat to our military service members, and another 300+ boxes went to local Grays Harbor kids in foster care.
But beyond the numbers, our scouts—ranging from kindergarten to high school seniors—gained valuable skills in goal setting, money management, communication, and teamwork. They worked hard, had fun, and grew in confidence along the way. These are just some of the sweet faces of the scouts that worked so hard.
This is why I volunteer. Watching these Girl Scouts set goals and crush them, encourage and lift up their sister scouts, and push through the challenges—whether it’s standing in the freezing cold and rain, going through endless hand warmers, or finding the courage to approach one more customer—is inspiring every single year. These girls are learning resilience, leadership, and the power of community, and I’m so proud to be part of their journey.
