Motorcyclist Airlifted Friday Morning After Collision In Pacific County

The Washington State Patrol says that a 31-year-old Rochester man was airlifted from the scene of a motorcycle collision Friday morning in Pacific County on US 101.

The collision occurred on Friday morning July 28th at 6:15 AM on US 101 MP 34 near Nemah Bay.  They say that the 31-year-old Rochester, WA man was traveling northbound on 101 at a high rate of speed and lost control. The motorcycle he was on a 2007 Honda CBR1000 went off the roadway and came to rest in the southbound side ditch. 

It is unknown if there was any alcohol or drugs involved, speeds too fast for conditions is cited as the cause. 

The man was airlifted to Peace Health SW Medical Center, Vancouver
