2 Grays Harbor Residents Tested for COVID-19 Test Negative for virus

After publishing this story another release was put out saying that there was one unrelated case to the two that were tested that is a confirmed case on the Harbor even though they said there were none.  Click here to read that story

A local scare in the recent COVID-19 Virus Pandemic had residents in Grays Harbor County panicking and upset that they were not being told where 2 residents of the area had been that were being tested for the possibility of having the virus.  

The post made by the Grays Harbor County Public Health and Social Services on March 3rd said "There are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Grays Harbor County. At the time of this writing, two Grays Harbor County residents are under investigation for the novel coronavirus and will be tested for COVID-19. Local public health officials are working with health care providers and close contacts of the individuals to control the spread of the virus."

Today March 11th the  Grays Harbor County Public Health and Social Services say that the tests have come back negative for the virus and that currently it still remains that there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 nor are they reporting that anyone is being tested for the virus.  

They did say after the last testing announcement and the public becoming panicked that "Moving forward, Grays Harbor Public Health will no longer be reporting numbers on “persons under investigation” (i.e. persons being tested).  Grays Harbor Public Health will report confirmed cases. At this time, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Grays Harbor County".
