Motorcycle Accident, 2 Airlifted to Harborview

The Washington State Patrol reports that motorcycle accident a rider and passenger to an area hospital and beyond on Friday. 

The accident occurred on US 101 near milepost 98, 9 miles north of Hoquiam occurred at 1:45 in the afternoon.  The motorcycle a black 1997 Honda gl15se2v was traveling northbound on 101 with its rider being a 65-year-old Hoquiam man and a passenger a 50-year-old Hoquiam woman.  

The motorcycle hit an oil slick (unknown source) sending the motorcycle off the roadway ejecting both persons on the bike.  

The Hoquiam man and woman were transported to Community Hospital then airlifted to Harborview in Seattle.
