This is an incident catch up from tips and call audio, not an official press release from any agency.

Arctic fire was dispatched to a structure fire at 2:53 AM to the 100 block of Artic Rd.

10 minutes later an update to the address was given as the 100 block of N River Road as fire trucks were going the wrong direction.

Still fire trucks confused by the initial address and the updated address had trucks, police crossing each other going to different locations.

On arrival, the structure was fully involved, with the original call saying the fire started in the back bedroom.

Mutual aid was requested from Fire District 2 with a tender and Cosmopolis Fire with an engine and crew.

Later a DNR request was requested foer an engine and a crew that would indicate the fire got into the brush in the area.

We are told that the house is a total loss, but everyone did get out without injury.

Officially from the Grays Harbor Sheriffs Office

On 08/08/17 the Sheriffs Office responded to assist Fire District 15, Fire District 2 and the Cosmopolis Fire Department with a fully engulfed house fire on North River Road. Thankfully the occupants of the house got out safely. It appears the fire was started accidentally. Explosions were heard coming from the fire and were possibly caused by propane tanks exploding in the fire. The fire departments did a great job keeping the fire from spreading out of control.
